Hi Lynn,
Thanks for your comments. I do know that spelt contains gluten, but luckily it doesn’t bother some Celiacs. I have been tested both inside and out to make sure that the spelt is doing no damage to me. It contains less gluten and is slightly different than wheat and that difference is enough for some folks and not enough for others. I intend to book mark the spelt recipes in a separate tab but haven’t built it yet. I will add to the post that spelt does contain gluten, as I intended to and forgot.
I hate it when he beats people at their game, really not fair to them to have him come busting through in what they think is their glory moment of fame!

Hi,
I was under the impression that spelt is NOT gluten free. I wanted to share that in case it is NOT gluten free and you didn’t know that. I was eating spelt bread and loving it, and then learned it is not gluten free…the interesting thing was I was getting the symptoms I get when I used to eat wheat, but I thought wheat free meant gluten free.
I don’t like that Bobbie Flay and that show of his either. I always want the other person to win…
